Bought these great looking shoes for my now ex girlfriend. I miss these shoes. ByeeeThis is my second pair of Bill Dance shoes and my 4th pair of Rugged Shark shoes. New ones get worn to all but non-formal events and older pairs migrate to yard work shoes. Typically last at least 3 years before the interior of the heel area wears out but are still comfortable.First off, I love Rugged Shark shoes! They look great they're very comfortable and they're generally priced well. I've had well over 5 pairs since making the switch from Sperry's, but, improvements need to made to the sole, specifically the toe portion. The toe section of the sole is glued and glued only. In the last 2 pairs, the toe portion has either come loose within the 1st month or have been received and returned due to the lack of sufficient glue. (see images) I will say that Sperry's are both glued and stitched for added measure. I want to say loyal to the brand, but until they can get the quality of the toe portion under control, I'm unfortunately going to have to steer clear. I also sent an email to the company in the hopes of getting a response.The last pair of these made in USA that I purchased almost 5 years ago I wore for 4 years plus when I stopped wearing them they were still serviceable but looked bad. The ones I purchased last made in china a few months ago look worse than the ones I wore for 4 years, the glue has already coming apart. I have purchased 6 pair of these in the past several yearsI will not purchase any more but try to find shoes made in USAEdit: 4/13/21: I reached out to Rugged Shark, sent them this picture and it appears they are going to replace the shoes. So, with this, I'm raising this from 2 stars to 3. I just hope the shoe strings last more then 3 months.So, my shoes were delivered on Feb 10, 2021. I only wear them to work, to and from my office. I work in an office, so I don't neglect them... However, the shoe laces broke in less then 60 days... You think, hell, it's only laces... No, the problem is, you have to lace these damn things thru the shoe. It's impossible... Other then that, they are not bad shoes...This is my second pair. The first pair lasted 4 years wearing them every day. Good investment.These shoes are so well made, as soon as you put them on you can feel the quality. I don’t use them on a boat or for fishing, I just like the way they look and feel and the non slip grip is a plus featureReally like these shoes. Took a day to break in but they feel great. Looking to buy second pair for everyday. You won't be disappointed.Excellent
